Terms of Service
Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Glass CRM. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who these terms are with
Glass CRM is provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]), registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]("we", "us"). "You" means the business that holds the account, and anyone you invite to use it.
2. The service
Glass CRM is software for glass and glazing contractors to manage customers, build a product catalogue, produce quotations, convert them to invoices, record payments, and send branded documents by email.
We may change or improve the service over time. We will not make a change that materially reduces its core functionality without telling you.
3. Your account
- You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for everything done through your account.
- You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for the level of access you give them.
- You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must be at least 18 and using the service for business purposes.
4. Your customers' data — this section matters
The information you enter about your own customers remains yours. We store and process it only to provide the service to you.
In data protection terms you are the controller of that information and we are your processor. That means you decide what is collected and why, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold it and for responding to requests from the individuals concerned.
Our obligations as your processor are set out in our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. It covers confidentiality, security, our use of sub-processors, help with data subject requests, and what happens to your data when the agreement ends.
You must not upload special category data — such as health information — unless you have told us and we have agreed arrangements for it.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- send unsolicited marketing email, or anything misleading or deceptive;
- store or transmit malicious code;
- attempt to access another customer’s account or data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the service, or resell it without our agreement;
- place unreasonable load on the service, or attempt to circumvent any usage limit applying to your plan.
If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to [support@yourdomain.com] rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports an issue responsibly and in good faith.
6. Fees and payment
Where you subscribe to a paid plan, fees are as shown at the time you subscribe and are payable in advance for each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-periods unless the law requires it. If a payment fails we may suspend access to paid features after giving you notice and a reasonable chance to fix it.
We may change our prices, and will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal. Fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend it temporarily for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.
Support is available at [support@yourdomain.com].
8. Documents you produce
You are responsible for the content and accuracy of the quotations, invoices and other documents you produce using the service, including prices, tax treatment and terms. The service performs calculations from the figures you enter; it does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, and you should satisfy yourself that your documents meet your own obligations.
9. Intellectual property
We own the service and everything in it apart from your data. You own your data, and your logo and branding remain yours — you give us permission to use them only to produce and send documents on your behalf.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if your account is used in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
After your account ends you will have a reasonable period to export your data before it is deleted, in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Keep your own records. While we take backups, you should keep independent copies of information you rely on for accounting or legal purposes.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice to account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [ENGLAND AND WALES], and the courts of [ENGLAND AND WALES] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
